Compost bins

At the Botanic Gardens, we also learnt how to make compost bins. This is how you make a compost bin:First you dig a hole in the ground or get a bucket with a hole on the bottom for the worm wees and put soil in it. Then you buy some tiger worms from the internet and buy 1000 to 2000, or if you want to make a small compost then you can just buy fifty or less of them. After that you make some bedding for the worms. To make the bedding for the worms you need some newspaper and water. What you have to do is just wet the newspaper and spread it around the bucket or hole. Then you get another bucket and fill it up with: bread, broken egg shells and vegetables and fruit scraps, but you don't put in mandarine or orange peels. Under the bucket [ you don't need it if you have dug a hole] you have to put an ice-cream container for the worm poo.
